The Sewing DO Museum
This museum experience is enjoyed by sewists and first-timers alike. When you visit, you'll do more than just learn about sewing, you will do it yourself! No experience needed. Through a guided, hands-on journey, you’ll create your own project while exploring the history, culture, creativity, community, and sustainability behind the craft.
*Walk-ins are definitely welcome, but reserving your ticket is the best way to guarantee your spot with little to no wait.
What are we all about?
The Do Museum concept is built on the belief that learning happens best through doing, transforming visitors from passive observers into active creators. Diving into the history, culture, and artifacts while pairing it with action and creation creates connections in our brain wired to truly aid the learning process. When we apply this concept to an art form that is a part of things we use every day (ie.. clothing), it becomes a dynamic and inspiring journey. Step into sewing history with guided stations showcasing timeless craftsmanship, culture, history, engineering, and modern concepts around the craft of sewing. Learn at each station and create your own project as you journey throughout the museum. Stations designed for kids (6+) and adults alike. Buy tickets
